Rågvägen's service residence is looking for a new employee.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us to make the residents' everyday lives understandable, meaningful, manageable, rich in content, and safe. An everyday life where the residents play the leading role in their own lives. The fundamental methods used in the operation are clarifying pedagogy/educational approach and low-arousal response. Working within Individual Support is a challenging and rewarding job where you can make a difference in people's daily lives.

Responsibilities

As a habilitation assistant, your responsibility is to support the residents towards a more independent life based on their needs and interests. You will serve as support in daily life regarding care, social, health, and medical contacts, etc. You are a person who sees opportunities, has a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to people. You will be part of a context where high demands are placed on collaboration skills and accountability. You should also be able to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, daily activities, and other networks. You will work with the methods of clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal response. In your role, you will be assigned a contact person responsibility, you will document in Lifecare and write and work according to the customers' implementation plans.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a suitable completed and approved three-year upper secondary education in health and care, leisure leader, treatment assistant, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You should have experience working within LSS and low-arousal response. It is desirable that you have experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors.

You have computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement. We see a professional and humble approach and response as a given. You are positive and solution-focused, enjoy taking responsibility, and have experience in clarifying pedagogy/educational approach/ACC (alternative and augmentative communication). Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid B driver's license is a requirement.

Other

The position is a temporary position at 75% until 261231. Working hours are scheduled for day-evening and weekend shifts. Your main workplace will be at Rågvägen, but since we collaborate with the entire functional support, shifts at other units may also occur. Sunne applies a fragrance and tobacco-free working time.
