Family Center Källan is a place for collaboration and coordination of resources between various stakeholders. The foundation is the region's maternal and child health care, together with the municipality's open preschool and preventive social services. The target group for the family center is pregnant women and families with children aged 0-6 years.
Your task as a social worker is to be part of the interdisciplinary team at the Family Center and collaborate with MVC, BVC, and the open preschool.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a social worker with us, you will primarily provide support in parenting roles through individual conversations and parent groups. You will also participate in parent education together with MVC and BVC and lead support groups for children. Part of the job is also to provide guidance on where to turn in various situations and to be a support in contact with different authorities.
The position also includes working with the social services' preventive parenting support in interventions without individual needs assessment for families with children and youth aged 0-18 years.
The work mainly takes place during the day, but some activities occur in the evening.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have a degree in social work or other education in relevant areas that can be assessed as equivalent. It is important that you have knowledge and interest in preventive work with pregnant women and families with children aged 0 to 6 years. Work experience in parenting support, parent education, and support groups for children is also a requirement for the position.
If you also have the following, we see it as an advantage:
- training in interaction treatment such as Marte Meo or other relevant training in family work/parenting roles/children
- previous experience as a social worker, family therapist, or family counselor
- knowledge of domestic violence and honor-related violence
- trained group leader in ABC (All Children in Focus), Komet, or other parenting support programs
- valid driver's license as home visits are required.
