JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help create a safe, inclusive, and developing school environment for young people? We are looking for a committed and reliable social pedagogue who wants to support our students in their social and emotional development and contribute to the school's values work.

With us, you will be an important resource for both students and staff, working closely with teachers, student health, school management, and guardians. Your efforts make a difference every day!

Responsibilities:

• Support students in their social development and school life, both individually and in groups
• Work proactively and promote safety, well-being, and study focus
• Participate in the school's safety team and contribute to efforts against bullying and absenteeism
• Be a present adult in the school's shared environments
• Collaborate with guardians, the student health team, and external actors as needed
• Document and follow up on interventions

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education as a social pedagogue or other relevant post-secondary education
• Has experience working with children and youth, preferably in a school environment
• Is reliable, attentive, and has a good ability to build relationships and meet students with different needs
• Can work independently and in a team
• Has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working in a secondary school
• Knowledge of NPF, mental health issues, or conflict management
• Experience collaborating with social services or other external actors

We place great importance on personal qualities.

According to the Education Act, a criminal record extract from the police is required upon employment in preschool, school, and school-age childcare.
