JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for personal assistants who are interested in summer positions and hourly positions for our various assistance groups. As a personal assistant, you will work closely with a person with disabilities and support them in their daily life based on individual needs and wishes. The tasks may include personal care, help at home, accompanying on activities, and creating security and participation in everyday life.

The work as a personal assistant requires maturity and the ability to understand and empathize with another person's life situation. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, attentive, flexible, and takes responsibility in their work. Previous experience working with the target group is an advantage but not a requirement. Since the work as a personal assistant means that you will largely work alone, there are high demands for documentation. Based on the documentation requirement, it is important that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

The position involves working all days of the week, day/evening, and on-call at night.

Before you start working independently, you will receive shadowing with experienced staff, digital introductory training, and any other training that may be needed to perform the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are over 18 years old
• Have a care education or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to perform care documentation, receive medication delegation, and communicate with users
• Have a professional and pleasant demeanor and focus on the individual
• Are comfortable working independently
