We are now looking for residential support workers and educators to join our team at Östra Ve & Klockargården's LSS group homes. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! We are currently looking for several positions and need you who wish for a permanent position and/or temporary employment with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and on-call nights. You will work every other weekend, and if you are interested in working awake nights, this can be discussed. If you wish for a temporary position, there are great opportunities for that employment form to transition into a permanent position.

Application from January 26 as we need you as soon as possible.

Don't hesitate to send in your application today!

About the operations Just north of Lake Panken, about 25 km from Karlstad and 20 km from Kristinehamn in Väse, Värmland, are Östra Ve and Klockargården's newly built group homes. The operations have six apartments each and are located in a rural environment with the forest as the nearest neighbor. The operations primarily target those within the autism spectrum, and there is an opportunity to work in the garden with our residents if interested.

Bus connections to Karlstad or Kristinehamn run about once an hour, and the bus stops about 100 meters from Klockargården.

In the group homes, residents live with approved decisions according to LSS 9§9, housing with special services. We are currently a work team of 13 permanently employed staff working at Klockargården (including the operations manager). Since Östra Ve is a newly started operation and is closely connected to Klockargården, Klockargården's staff also work there.

Images and more information about the operation can be found at: Klockargården (https://nytida.se/verksamheter/klockargarden/) and Östra Ve (https://nytida.se/verksamheter/ostra-ve/).

About the role In the role of residential support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff, you will work to ensure that the residents achieve a meaningful and fulfilling day. You will support and guide with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, cleaning, building and/or maintaining networks, and communication support. An important part of the work may also be to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evening, weekends, sleeping on-call, and awake nights.

You will have an operations manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and nursing (nursing assistant) or another equivalent education, e.g., social, support, or treatment pedagogy. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with target group 1 or groups within the autism spectrum, intellectual disabilities, psychosocial problems, and psychiatric conditions.

In other respects, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities and basic care education, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow. You need to have a B driver's license to work in our operations as several tasks involve driving the operational vehicle for activities. We would like your age, email address, and phone number to be included in the application.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping the best interests of our residents as your starting point in everything you do.

At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our vision "we make the world a little better, one person at a time" and our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.

Other Employment form: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Start date: As soon as possible but by agreement. Application deadline: February 15. Background check: A criminal record extract must be presented upon possible employment. As part of our work environment efforts, random drug tests may occur. For more information, contact: operations manager [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or coordinator [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). Union contact: Kommunal, www.kommunal.se (http://www.kommunal.se)
