Consultant Manager at Adecco in Gothenburg
Do you want to be part of one of the world's largest and most reputable HR and recruitment companies? Do you have experience in recruitment and HR work and thrive best when no day is the same? Do you want a work environment characterized by teamwork, professionalism, and high energy? Adecco is now looking for an engaged and business-oriented Consultant Manager who wants to contribute to our continued success – could it be you we are looking for?
About the role
The role of Consultant Manager is broad and dynamic. You have personnel responsibility for a number of consultants who are out with our clients, and you are a present leader who ensures that both the client and the consultant feel secure and satisfied. This means that you work both operationally and strategically – with staffing, planning, development talks, and ongoing client dialogue. Additionally, you handle personnel administration, drive your own recruitment assignments, and actively work on sales with both existing and potential clients. Here you are given freedom with responsibility and the opportunity to influence your everyday life – with us, no day is the same!
Your responsibilities include:
- Recruitment of consultants for our client assignments, including requirement profiling, interviews, background checks, etc.
- Personnel responsibility for consultants placed with clients, including ongoing follow-up, development talks, and in some cases difficult conversations.
- Personnel administration, e.g., during new hires, termination of employment, and responsibility for ensuring that time reporting is submitted and approved on time for deadlines, etc.
- Ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that we meet their expectations (regarding quality, development, and delivery) and maintain satisfied customers.
- Actively contribute to both the team's and your individual development within your area to achieve both the team's and your individual goals.
- Sales, primarily to existing clients but also new client acquisition may occur.
You will be an important part of a close-knit team that supports each other and works closely with our local clients. At Adecco, people are at the center – we believe in engagement, collaboration, and building strong, long-term business relationships where all parties win.
The position is full-time based at Adecco's office in central Gothenburg. You should reside in Gothenburg or within a comfortable commuting distance. You will report directly to the Area Branch Manager for South & West. Desired start as soon as possible, considering any notice period.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience working as a consultant manager or a similar role where you have had responsibility for the described tasks. It is highly meritorious if you come from the staffing and recruitment industry.
As a person, you are proactive and have a “can do” attitude – you see solutions rather than obstacles. You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have the ability to work methodically but can also make quick decisions when necessary. You thrive in an environment where client and consultant satisfaction is the focus and are used to working towards clear goals and KPIs. You communicate easily in both speech and writing, are trustworthy, businesslike, and have the ability to understand and capture your clients' wishes.
For this role, the ability for self-leadership is required; you do not need to know everything but are expected to take responsibility for finding the answers you lack and completing your tasks on time.
As the role involves significant administrative responsibility, it is crucial that you are structured, meticulous, and quick to learn new digital systems. You are accustomed to working in various business systems to ensure that processes and documentation are handled correctly and efficiently.
Why Adecco?
We are part of The Adecco Group, a global company operating in over 60 countries. In Sweden, Adecco has been established since 1992 and is a well-established player nationally. With us, you get the power of a well-known brand behind you and become part of an engaged, business-driven, and supportive team.
We offer you:
- A flexible work environment where you can influence your everyday life and your business
- Collective agreements, secure employment conditions, and a favorable benefits package
- Clear growth plans and an innovative corporate culture
- Internal development programs and training
- Opportunities for an international career
