Research Assistant for the Fatigue Study

The Academic Primary Care Center (APC) has a comprehensive research, education, and development mission for primary care in the Stockholm Region. APC and the three university health centers Jakobsberg, Gustavsberg, and Liljeholmen constitute the primary care university hospital unit (USV) and are an important part of the new organization for knowledge management nationally and regionally. The operation is based on a network organization where the majority of our employees have their primary employment in clinical primary care. The Stockholm County Health Care Area, SLSO, is the principal but APC's activities are conducted independently of the operating form throughout the Stockholm Region. Responsibilities

As a research assistant, you will be the patient's guide through the technical aspects of the study. • Monitoring data collection: Through our study platforms, you will daily follow up that data synchronizes as it should and be available for compliance and troubleshooting support.

Participate in relevant meetings with researchers and clinicians: to follow recruitment pace and patient flow through the study.

Travel within the region may occur, and your placement may vary between some of our different nodes in the research project (Gustavsberg health center, Liljeholmen health center, Study Unit at Sabbatsberg Hospital).

  • Experience in service: You have experience with customer or patient contact.
  • Good technical skills (mobile/apps/hardware): You are comfortable handling both iOS and Android, can pair Bluetooth devices, and quickly familiarize yourself with new web-based systems.

Meritorious:

It is particularly meritorious if you have:

  • Experience from previous work within the framework of clinical studies, care, or research.
  • Worked with technical support (e.g., helpdesk or customer service).
  • Experience in administration or logistics.

  • Has a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize. Takes great responsibility, works structured, and is meticulous with quality and documentation.
  • Is service-oriented, pedagogical, solution-focused, and has a good demeanor.

An exciting and educational work environment focused on patient contact, research, and development. Good opportunities for personal and professional development. The chance to make a difference in healthcare.

Conditions

Fixed-term employment as a research assistant for one year, 100%, with the possibility of extension by agreement. Start as soon as possible by agreement.

We continuously review applications and may call for interviews before the application deadline. The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
