Business Manager – Fiber to Home

Location

Stockholm/Uppsala - Willing to commute to Stockholm 1-2 days a week. Hybrid – at least 3 days a week in an office.

This role is for you if you have:

  • Solid experience in overall commercial responsibility, including business strategy, pricing, P&L, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven, including in Excel.
  • Experience in the telecom industry is highly meritorious.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for managers and decision-makers.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the role and the team

As a Business Manager, you will have overall business responsibility for a central access segment in Sweden. Depending on your strengths and experiences, you will be responsible for Single Dwelling Units (SDU/Villa) or Multi Dwelling Units (MDU).

The role is one of the most business-oriented and influential in the team. You work in a fast-paced environment and have daily contact with managers and key individuals within marketing, sales, delivery, and management. The team is small but has a large mandate and broad impact within the organization. The working method is data-driven, structured, and clear – with a focus on translating strategy into actual business.

You will not have personnel responsibility, but you will have a clear indirect leadership role and a central role in getting the organization to work in the same direction.

Responsibilities and what you do in a typical week:

  • Follow up on business results, volumes, margins, and pricing outcomes.
  • Work with budget, forecasting, and P&L follow-up for your segment.
  • Define and further develop commercial strategy, offerings, and pricing.
  • Prepare decision-making materials and presentations for managers and leadership.
  • Drive and coordinate work together with marketing, sales, and delivery.

You are confident in owning a business fully, accustomed to working under pressure, and comfortable managing many parallel issues simultaneously. You make decisions based on analysis and business logic and are clear and structured in your communication. You enjoy influencing, collaborating, and taking responsibility – without needing formal mandate.
