We are now looking for an experienced and senior project manager for a comprehensive transformation assignment with a client in the Banking/Insurance sector. The assignment involves leading and coordinating a strategically important transition.

Assignment period: February-August
Scope: 100 %
Location: Stockholm (on-site with the client)

About the role

As the Project Manager for Transition & Transformation, you will be the client's internal lead responsible for driving and coordinating the delivery of new services.

You will work closely with both the client's organization and the external supplier, and be responsible for ensuring that the transformation is carried out according to plan – from analysis and design to implementation and handover to management.

Your main responsibilities

Project Management and Governance

• Plan, structure, and drive the entire transformation project
• Ensure that all project phases are executed according to schedule
• Coordinate resources and activities between the client and the supplier
• Follow up on deliveries and ensure that set goals are achieved

Collaboration and Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact between all involved parties
• Lead meetings, workshops, and steering group reviews
• Ensure clear and accurate documentation throughout the project

Quality and Follow-up

• Manage risks, deviations, and change requests
• Ensure that acceptance criteria are met in each phase
• Be responsible for structured handover to operations and management

Reporting

• Ongoing reporting of status, progress, and risks
• Follow-up on the supplier's commitments and activities

Examples of project areas

The assignment includes several parallel initiatives, including:

• Modernization of technical platforms for digital workplaces
• Implementation of new tools for device management
• Management and further development of cloud-based collaboration services
• Structure and governance around automation and digitalization
• Security improvements within client and cloud environments
• Development of support services related to the workplace
• Improvement of processes, measurement, and integrations
• Initiatives for increased efficiency and better user experience

We are looking for someone who has

• Solid experience in leading complex IT transitions and transformation projects
• Strong understanding of modern workplace platforms
• Experience working in larger organizations and collaborating with external suppliers
• Documented experience in managing projects with many dependencies and stakeholders
• Experience in risk management, change management, and quality control
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English

Profile Level

• Very senior competence
• Experience with large and complex assignments
• Used to leading larger project teams
• High degree of independence
