Aspnässkolan is a F–6 school with approximately 265 students, located in the center of Jakobsberg with close access to commuter trains and good communication. As a smaller unit, we have short decision-making paths and close collaboration between school management, staff, students, and guardians. Here, every student is everyone's responsibility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in after-school care with us, you stimulate and challenge the students' curiosity, development, and learning. You are knowledgeable about the governing documents and have a strong ambition to develop the after-school care as a pedagogical learning environment.

• translates the curriculum goals into practical, varied, and planned teaching
• is jointly responsible with colleagues for the teaching in after-school care
• participates in the students' entire day, both in after-school activities and in close collaboration with classroom teachers
• is present before and after school hours as well as during breaks
• builds secure and professional relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• continuously collaborates with student health and other school staff

In the coordination responsibility, you:

• lead and organize the daily work in after-school care together with school management/administration
• drive development areas based on governing documents and the school's goals
• support the work team in planning, routines, and documentation
• contribute to shared understanding, structure, and quality in the entire operation

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are:

• licensed primary school teacher in after-school care
• good at collaboration and able to create secure, professional relationships
• communicative and attentive, with a solution-focused approach
• structured and skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work
• view collegial learning as a natural part of the development work
• creates student participation and has high, positive expectations for students' opportunities

Meritorious

• experience of coordination responsibility or another leadership role in after-school care
• experience of driving development work based on governing documents and operational analysis
