Psychological Institution is Hiring a Project Administrator

The Psychological Institution is a creative and international workplace for education and research with about 200 employees.

Over 1000 people study in our various programs, ranging from undergraduate to doctoral level, including psychology programs, psychotherapy programs, and specialist training.

We also conduct very successful research in several areas, including work and organizational psychology, psychophysics and perception, stress, biological psychology, clinical psychology, cognition, social psychology, and developmental psychology. The institution has its own psychological clinic for research and education with about 4000 visits per year.

Job Responsibilities

Main job responsibilities include project administration, recruiting participants, collecting data, and documenting data and experimental procedures within psychological research.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with well-documented experience in project administration (documentation and management of data and experimental procedures), recruiting participants, and data collection within psychological research. Experience in collecting data from both children and adults is particularly meritorious, as is familiarity with working in Redcap and with fear conditioning and/or psychophysiology.

Applicants are expected to have a suitable university degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or other relevant education and to speak fluent Swedish. Programming experience is meritorious. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and we are looking for someone who can work in a structured manner, both independently and in a group, and can conduct data collection with individuals with varying degrees of anxiety.

About the Position

This project is in collaboration with Uppsala University. Note! Data collection will take place at Uppsala University, and the work will therefore primarily be located in Uppsala.

The position is full-time and lasts for six months. Part of the work will take place outside regular office hours. Start date in February 2026.
