Tellusborgsskolan is located in Midsommarkransen in premises that were remodeled and renovated in 2020. The school has about 760 students in grades 6-9 and is organized into grade-specific teams led by an assistant principal. Once a term, the teams carry out an interdisciplinary theme that is presented in the form of a show or exhibition for guardians and students at the school.

Your Role

You will teach the subjects of Social Studies and Physical Education in grade 6. You will be part of a team and have shared mentorship in one of the classes in the team. Thanks to the size of the school, you will have good opportunities to plan, co-assess, and discuss teaching with subject colleagues.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach. The position is a temporary contract for the spring term with a possible extension.

Your Competence and Experience

You are a qualified and certified teacher with documented experience teaching Social Studies and Physical Education in primary school. You have the competence to plan and implement teaching that meets the needs and interests of different students. You can individualize and adapt teaching and tasks to suit students' varying abilities, both those aiming for and approaching the highest grades and those who need a bit more support from the teacher to achieve passing grades. You are proficient in digital technology both for your own use and in teaching.

You are secure, stable, self-aware, and a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively. Experience and knowledge of NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities) is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
