About the positions:

Fryshuset School in Akalla is looking for two teachers for after-school care for temporary positions throughout 2026, with a possibility of extension.

One position will be filled immediately and the other will be filled on 260301.

As a teacher in after-school care with us, you will stimulate and challenge the students' curiosity, development, and learning. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have a clear ambition to contribute to developing after-school care as a pedagogical and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

In the role of teacher in after-school care, you will:

• translate the curriculum goals into practical, varied, and planned teaching
• be responsible together with colleagues for the teaching in after-school care
• participate in the students' entire day, both in after-school activities and in close collaboration with classroom teachers
• be present before and after school hours as well as during breaks and when handling school buses
• build safe and professional relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• continuously collaborate with student health and other school staff
• This assignment is suitable for you who are passionate about the pedagogical mission of after-school care and want to take a step further in responsibility and leadership.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is:

• a licensed teacher in after-school care
• has good collaboration skills and the ability to create safe, professional relationships
• communicative and attentive, with a solution-focused approach
• structured and skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work
• sees collegial learning as a natural part of development work
• creates student participation and has high, positive expectations of students' possibilities

Meritorious:

• experience in a leadership role in after-school care
• experience in driving development work based on governing documents and operational analysis
• experience working in a multicultural environment
• multilingualism
