About the position:

Fryshuset Primary School in Akalla is looking for a substitute preschool teacher for the preschool class.

Responsibilities:

You will act as a bridge between preschool and primary school, having one foot in the preschool curriculum and one in the primary school curriculum. Based on both educational orientations and the needs of the students, you will design teaching that challenges, inspires, and stimulates students' desire to learn and creates opportunities for influence.

Your work includes actively creating linguistic awareness, linking play to learning situations, and contributing to a smooth and planned transition from preschool to preschool class and primary school. Students are offered a safe environment based on mutual respect where they can create and maintain good social relationships.

Who is a clear pedagogical leader with the ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and other partners characterized by mutual respect, trustful approach, and positive expectations.

Your role includes assessing and documenting each student's needs and contributing to collegial learning, development, and systematic reflection on both individual and collective work.

Qualifications:

• You who apply have a preschool teacher license or a teaching license with the authority to teach in the preschool class.

Meritorious:

• If you also have the authority to teach grades 1-3 in Swedish and mathematics in primary school.
• If you have the ability to challenge students based on their conditions and can create enthusiasm and engagement for learning and the learning environment. The work requires you to see opportunities and developmental needs at both individual and group levels, as well as to plan and document the activities.
• The ability to analyze and reflect on the learning situation and your own leadership is required, as well as to promote collegial learning.
• We would like you to have previously worked as a preschool teacher in preschool class or as an educator in preschool and/or primary school.
• The ability to set clear boundaries, create structured lessons, and at the same time be flexible in teaching is a prerequisite for the position.
• You can build trusting relationships by being communicative and attentive in contacts both within and outside the school.
• The role requires you to integrate digital technology into daily operations and use it as a tool in your own work.
• You are well acquainted with and live up to the ethical principles for teachers and are well versed in the preschool and school curricula, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and have the ability to implement these in practice.
