Mark Combat School is looking for a Section Chief (OF3) for the Education Unit's Tactics Department

Mark Combat School (MSS) plays a role in creating conditions for the school to fulfill its assigned tasks effectively both nationally and internationally, in collaboration with other parts of the army. MSS also handles tasks for the entire Armed Forces, such as the development and procurement of soldier-carried equipment, firearms, and support weapons. Within this framework, Mark Combat School educates the future leaders of the Armed Forces using advanced training facilities and extensive knowledge.

About the Department

The Tactics Department is part of the Education Unit at Mark Combat School and conducts courses that are either internal or program-bound training for army officers, specialist officers, and eventually reserve officers. The courses are aimed at officers who, in their progression, will be able to serve at levels ranging from company commander to staff officer in brigade staff, as well as specialist officers who will be able to serve as functional representatives, staff members, or training managers at the battalion level.

About the Position

All professional officers in the Tactics Department are teachers with the primary task of conducting training for officers and specialist officers in courses organized by MSS, such as: Tactical Course Army (TaK A), Higher Specialist Officer Training (HSOU), and various Professional and Position Courses (YBK) targeting officers and specialist officers in the army's maneuver units. As a teacher, it is part of the role to develop orders, exercise plans, and lesson materials for training. As a section chief, you will also support the department head in planning, conducting, and evaluating training. You will provide decision-making support regarding resource issues and are expected to participate in project groups within MSS aimed at contributing educational perspectives in various areas of development.

We view a service at MSS as a natural and obvious time in every professional officer's military career in the army. We are confident that a service at MSS will provide you with valuable knowledge about the latest and upcoming developments within the Army and the Armed Forces.
