43. Maintenance Company
The company has 3 platoons: Headquarters/Logistics platoon, Medical/Close Protection platoon, and Maintenance platoon. You will serve with continuously employed soldiers and officers. This places high demands on availability, as the company must be able to solve urgent tasks both during exercises and in real operations.
Your daily work includes maintaining your general soldier skills – your abilities in weapon handling and combat are the foundation for all tasks. Maintaining the company’s vehicles and equipment is a prerequisite for us to be able to solve the tasks that the company faces over time.

1. Traffic & Transport Management Company
The company has a traffic/transport management platoon and a transport management staff. You will serve with continuously employed soldiers and officers. The company is an operational resource and the Armed Forces' primary resource for transport management. The platoon's task is to support the entire Armed Forces with unit transports to and from operational areas and exercises, both nationally and internationally. This places high demands on availability and flexibility, as the company must be able to solve urgent tasks.
Your daily work includes maintaining your general soldier skills – your abilities in weapon handling and combat are the foundation for all tasks. Maintaining the company’s vehicles and equipment is a prerequisite for us to be able to solve the tasks that the company faces over time.
We are looking for;
- Traffic Soldiers
- Transport Management Officers
Qualifications for all positions
- Completed/current military basic training or conscription with a passing grade.
- Meets the requirements of FMFysS Level 2 (Multitest 175p & field test 2 km in 13:30). For Close Protection Soldier, FMFysS Level 3 (multitest 175p, field test 12:00 min) applies. The requirements must be met during the probationary period.
- Class B driver's license
Personal qualities
You must be able to work in a team but also independently under varying physical and psychological conditions. The changing tasks require you to be flexible and open to other areas of work than your original area of expertise. You also take responsibility for your physical and mental health, as good physical ability is a requirement for service performance and wartime placement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Completed conscription at T 2
- Military driver's license
- Internal training within the Armed Forces
- Team Leader Training
- Class C/CE driver's license
Other Employment Form:
Fixed-term employment with support from "Agreement on fixed-term employment with continuous service for group leaders, soldiers, and sailors within the Armed Forces". Employment period of 6 years, with the possibility of extension to 12 years. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Skövde
Level: OR1-5
The position will involve business trips, on-call duty, and include evening and weekend service.
Start date: Summer 2026
