About the Position

The Training Battalion at Amf4 conducts basic training for conscripts as well as extensive training and course activities for employed personnel. It is also at the Training Battalion that most of our newly graduated colleagues begin their careers to solidify and develop their troop leadership abilities. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an engaged and cohesive team where you can develop while contributing to the organization's journey of development.

Main Responsibilities

You will be part of the Training Battalion's S4/6 section in the role of communications officer. Currently, there is one soldier in the section with the position of communications assistant. Other individuals work towards the logistics function. The section also has a leader responsible for coordinating the section's tasks. You will be part of a team that primarily ensures that the battalion has access to the logistical resources required to conduct quality training. You will play a significant role in developing the battalion's ability to train in communications. Your daily tasks will mainly take place at Gothenburg Garrison, but travel and support with logistics outside Gothenburg Garrison may occur.

Below are examples of tasks that are intended to be solved:

• Ensure that communication systems are in functional use and plan for technical maintenance
• Train in communication systems and signal protection
• Evaluate and develop the Training Battalion's communication technical systems and content.
• Support other members of the section with their tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• Approved professional officer exam
• Driving license B

Personal Qualities

We see that you are meticulous, structured, proactive, and have good analytical skills. You have good collaboration skills, where engagement and responsibility are two key words. You are used to working both individually and in a team. You are motivated by developing logistics and communications functions, are flexible, and can quickly adapt to new conditions. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Logistical and/or technical background
• System operator on communication technical systems
• Signal protection
• Signal protection instructor

Employment form: Full-time 100% permanent position. Individual salary setting applies. The employment begins with a probationary period of 6 months for new hires.

Work location: Gothenburg (business trips and evening and weekend duties may occur)
