Instructor for Practical Training
The Swedish Armed Forces are in an expansion phase and on a significant growth journey. The Air Force is now seeking an instructor for the practical training component of the officer program. This position is a staffing assignment at the Logistics School in Skövde.
About the Unit
The Logistics School (LogS) is a joint defense school that develops the skills of personnel from across the Armed Forces. The school conducts professional and position courses in areas such as vehicle service, logistics management, supply chain management, catering service, communication service, and hazardous materials. Parts of the officer program's (OP) practical training (VFU) are also located at LogS, and to enable an increased training volume, a new platoon will be established, of which this position is a part.
Main Responsibilities
As an instructor, you will share responsibility with the other platoon members to plan, execute, follow up, and evaluate VFU for officer cadets with a focus on supply. You will contribute to shaping course content, coordinating efforts, and delivering lectures. Your role is central to ensuring quality in education, guidance, and support for cadets, as well as contributing to the development of the Armed Forces' future leaders. The training consists of approximately 45 students and combines theoretical education with practical training.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Professional or reserve officer (OF 1 or SO 6)
- Good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish and English

You are social, easily connect and collaborate with others, and have an interest in pedagogical development. You are not averse to working under high workloads at times and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You need to be a role model and apply the Armed Forces' core values. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Period: The staffing assignment is valid from 2026-03-02 to 2027-01-30
Work location: Skövde. Travel from the place of employment.
Working hours: Mainly daytime. Evening and weekend work may occur.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement – will be adjusted according to individual circumstances and the recruitment process.

Information about the Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:
Uppland Air Wing, F 16, is headquartered at Uppsala garrison. The unit is part of the Swedish Air Force and is responsible for the operation and monitoring of Uppsala Airport as well as the training of conscripts in various positions within the Air Force. The unit also leads the 161st Combat Control and Air Surveillance Battalion, which directs combat aircraft in the air and manages the continuous monitoring of Swedish airspace. The unit operates from several locations across the country and is an important part of the growth period that the Air Force is undergoing.
