About the Position
Amf4/Göteborgs garnison is now seeking a specialist officer as a safety advisor for hazardous goods with the overall task of supporting the management in its responsibility to ensure that the transport of hazardous goods is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This applies both to Amf 4 with its subordinate units and for other parts within the garrison in a coordinating role.
About Amf4/Göteborgs garnison
Älvsborgs Amphibious Regiment (Amf4) is one of Sweden's two Amphibious Regiments, re-established in 2022. At Amf4, there are several different types of units and organizations that conduct training and carry out military operations daily. Amf4's headquarters is located in Gothenburg, Käringberget, but also operates at other locations on the west coast. The commander of Amf4 is also the garrison commander for Göteborgs garnison. In addition to Amf4, there are other organizational units within Göteborgs garnison that are subject to regulations regarding the transport of hazardous goods.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as an advisor and expert to C Amf4 in the area of hazardous goods
- Functionally lead the work with hazardous goods within Amf4
- Support the hazardous goods area for other units within the garrison under coordination
- Collaborate and cooperate with various adjacent functions within the entire Armed Forces in the area of hazardous goods
Qualification Requirements
- Specialist officer
- Driver's license B
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
Meritorious
- Certified safety advisor for the transport of hazardous goods by road and hold a valid certificate from MSB or have experience as a safety advisor, functional representative for hazardous goods, or ADR teacher within the Armed Forces.
- Certified safety advisor for other modes of transport than by road, such as by rail, by sea, or by air.
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces and how an administrative authority is governed.
- Familiarity with NATO and the Armed Forces' regulations on hazardous goods.
- Have completed training for ADR teachers and been examined by MSB with a passing result and hold a valid certificate for ADR teachers.
Personal Qualities

You have good social skills, are trustworthy, analytical, and meticulous, and possess good pedagogical abilities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
