Administrator for the Planning and Employer Development Unit

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

The Planning and Employer Development Unit is responsible for department-wide support and coordination. The unit works with strategic HR issues, internal planning, governance, and follow-up, and leads and coordinates IT management objects within HR.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an administrator in the Planning and Employer Development Unit, you will be part of a team tasked with supporting department-wide issues. You will work both operationally and communicatively, focusing on providing professional support in personnel administrative matters and contributing to clear, accessible, and inspiring internal communication. You will plan, coordinate, and produce content for our internal channels such as collaboration areas, intranet, newsletters, and department-wide meetings. In your role, you will contribute to the development of our communication culture within the department.

Your role also includes some department-wide administration such as invoice management, registry maintenance, mail handling, permissions, and orders. You will also assist the department in coordinating and administering government-wide benefits such as Christmas gifts and awards. The assignment includes actively participating in the continuous development of the department's collective support for operations.
