We are looking for an analytical and structured person for a central role within the project management organization

You will work closely with project management, Business Controlling, and Central Accounting, responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring cost centers and personnel management. The role also includes preparations for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as collaboration with colleagues in Sweden and internationally.

Your Responsibilities

You will work closely with project management, as well as Business Controlling and Central Accounting. You will be largely responsible for creating and updating monthly and quarterly reports for the business to management and for administering and following up on time reporting and personnel management within the project management organization. In this role, you will be deeply involved in budgeting and forecasting related to cost centers. You will create, summarize, and report various KPIs for the business on a monthly basis.

Additionally, you will work on monitoring the department's costs and personnel numbers through the various cost centers, analyze and report them, and initiate necessary actions. You will be involved in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements regarding the preparation of documents and reports for internal control, as well as for external auditors. You will work closely with colleagues in Sweden, the USA, Germany, the UK, and other colleagues around the world. Ad hoc reporting, analysis, control, follow-up, and special tasks may vary from time to time.

There is an opportunity to drive digitalization by developing new reports and tools to analyze and control the entire project portfolio as needed, down to individual project levels or elements using digital tools such as Project Dash, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.

Your Profile

• You have a post-secondary education, university degree, or bachelor's degree in business administration.
• You have experience working in a project-based environment within the industrial or infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of accounting according to IFRS, local accounting, and global consolidated accounting.
• You have extensive experience working in MS Excel. Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx is highly advantageous. Knowledge of SAP systems is a merit. You enjoy working with various IT tools and data.
• You can communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Other languages are a merit.

You know what to prioritize and take responsibility, are meticulous when needed, and ensure timely delivery with the right quality. You take responsibility for your own tasks and can work independently with a drive to deliver according to agreed deadlines and scopes.
