Accountant to Vadstena

About the position

As an accountant at Sulzer, you will have a central role in our finance team. This is a role with many contact points and a fast pace. Your focus will be on accounting, according to both local GAAP (K3) and IFRS, for the Swedish legal entity. You will be the primary contact person for our Finance Shared Services teams in India and Spain and ensure that our processes function correctly.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work broadly with the entire accounting process and help ensure high quality and efficiency in accounting.

• Monthly and annual financial closing
• Monthly financial reporting to the group
• VAT and tax reporting
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP (K3), and other regulations in the accounting area
• Coordinate and contribute to effective external and internal audits
• Ensure that financial internal controls are in place and follow up on these
• Contribute to the development of processes, routines, etc. in the accounting area

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has

• University degree in finance or accounting
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on the general ledger and financial reporting
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and K3
• Expertise in VAT and tax issues
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

You are meticulous, analytical, and communicative. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently, and collaborating in an international environment. You are flexible and accustomed to handling a fast pace.
