We are looking for two dedicated colleagues to develop quality work within Medical Technology and IT

You will play a central role in developing management systems and ensuring that we achieve our quality goals both within the Center for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT) and for the safety areas of Information Security and Medical Technology. One position will focus on quality work within medical technology safety, while the other will focus on the center's overall quality work.

The position focused on medical technology safety is a regional assignment, which means that the work involves many contact points for both supportive and caring operations, and great importance is placed on the implementation and follow-up of quality management. The goal of the quality work is for Region Östergötland to have access to safe medical technology products and that these are handled and used safely.

The position focused on quality work within CMIT includes, in addition to developing and managing quality management systems, also analyzing and participating in or leading internal assignments.

Both positions also collaborate with the areas of information security, cybersecurity, and data protection to strengthen our holistic view of security.

Job Description

As a quality leader, you will be part of one or more smaller teams located in the Center for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT) and the unit for requirements and quality (EKK), but will also partially work region-wide.

Our guiding stars are to act helpfully and functionally; we work both to lead and support various development initiatives, but also to be responsible for maintaining a good safety and quality culture linked to our processes.

Examples of tasks for both positions include:

  • Develop management systems.
  • Support and in some cases lead development initiatives.
  • Conduct and also provide methodological support in risk and incident analyses.
  • Participate in the work of developing strategies and action plans.
  • Environmental monitoring and collaboration across organizational boundaries.
  • Review and analyze various materials.
  • Case management.
  • Facilitate workshops.
  • Plan and conduct training.

About You

You have a solid documented knowledge and experience of working with quality in larger organizations, preferably with a background in IT or medical technology. You are structured and analytical. You are meticulous, have good social skills and communication abilities, and find it easy to collaborate with others.

Desirable Experience and Knowledge:

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience that we assess as equivalent.
  • Development of management systems.
  • Knowledge of management systems and improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated activities that we assess as equivalent.

For those focused on quality work within CMIT, it is also desirable to:

  • Have knowledge of ITIL, PM3, ISO 9001.

For those focused on medical technology safety, it is also desirable to:

  • Have knowledge/experience of care work.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971.
  • Knowledge of MDR, IVDR, and national regulations within the healthcare sector.
