Kårservice enables a richer student life at Linköping University. By operating six student houses, providing study and meeting places, managing event spaces, pubs, and restaurants, and collaborating with student associations and external actors, we create conditions for a world-class student life. We are a values-driven company owned by the university's three student unions, working to provide the greatest possible benefit to LiU's approximately 44,000 students.

An important part of our mission is Kombo, the students' tenant organization in Linköping and Norrköping. Kombo works for safe, fair, and sustainable housing conditions, conducts rent negotiations, and provides advice to students.

We are now looking for a manager who wants to lead and further develop Kombo's operations.

Responsibilities

As a manager, you will:

• Conduct rent negotiations and represent students in dialogue with landlords
• 
  
• Process and communicate cases and financial requests to housing boards (student associations)
• 
  
• Coordinate and project manage Kombo's operations
• 
  
• Provide support and advice to students on housing issues
• 
  
• Monitor developments in the housing market and initiate development work
• 
  
• Work strategically to strengthen Kombo's role and long-term effects
• 
  

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• Self-driven, responsible, and structured
• 
  
• Communicative and experienced in representing an organization
• 
  
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and interested in social or housing issues
• 
  

Meritorious:

• Studies at Linköping University
• 
  
• Interest in or experience with law, contracts, or negotiations
• 
  
• Experience from student associations, volunteer engagement, or similar environments
• 
  
• Experience in rent negotiations or work with budgets and financial follow-up
•
