HR Administrator

Who are we?

The HR department belongs to the office of the municipal director and has the fundamental task of implementing the municipality's personnel policy. Based on the political vision, we work both strategically and operationally. The assignment also includes developing and quality assuring HR processes and routines.

Through consultative and operational support within the HR area, we enable the organization to perform and develop welfare assignments and ensure that Norrköping municipality is an attractive employer for current and future employees.

The HR department encompasses all of the municipality's central HR functions and consists of four units: the payroll unit, the HR unit, the negotiation unit, and the recruitment unit.

The negotiation unit consists of seven engaged and experienced colleagues characterized by strong collegial collaboration and knowledge exchange. We work solution-oriented, see opportunities where others see obstacles, and value a positive work climate.

You will find us in bright, open, and pleasant premises at Slottsgatan 116–118, and we are looking forward to moving to the newly renovated Town Hall soon.

Your tasks

As a temporary HR Administrator, you are a resource and support to your colleagues in the HR department. Your main tasks are administrative in nature, such as compiling statistics, supporting purchases and bookings, preparing materials for presentations, or assignments related to wage formation issues.

Since the assignment is a relief during the absence of permanent employees, the content of the assignment may change over time. It is important that you take ownership of your tasks and ensure they are completed on time and with accuracy.

Working in a structured and efficient manner with administrative flows is natural for you, and since you may handle sensitive and confidential information, high integrity and professionalism are required.

As part of the HR department, you are the face of Norrköping municipality and an important part of how our employer brand is perceived.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR, behavioral science, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.

You have experience in service and/or administration, preferably within the HR sector. We also view positively if you have experience working in the public sector.

As a person, you are service-oriented and skilled at understanding the needs of others and finding solutions based on that. You are attentive in collaborative situations and also enjoy independent work where you plan and organize your tasks effectively.

At times, the influx of cases may be larger, so we see that you have the ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor even in stressful situations.

You are accustomed to using the Office suite and have good knowledge of Excel. To succeed in the position, you also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
