Qstar is looking for an engaged Sustainability Controller who wants to contribute to achieving our ambitious sustainability goals and certifications. In this role, you will be a key person in the work of monitoring, analyzing, and reporting sustainability data as well as ensuring that the company meets both internal and external requirements for sustainability reporting and ESG.

Responsibilities:

As a Sustainability Controller, you will have a central role in the organization's sustainability work. You will be responsible for collecting, quality-assuring, analyzing, and reporting ESG data and relevant sustainability key figures. The work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and frameworks such as CSRD, GRI, and the EU taxonomy, where you ensure that the reporting is accurate, transparent, and meets external requirements.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the development and further development of the company's sustainability strategy and associated action plans in close collaboration with the HSEQ manager and other internal stakeholders. You will follow up on set goals, analyze results, identify areas for improvement, and propose and drive actions to strengthen the organization's sustainability performance.

You will also work closely with the finance department to integrate sustainability data into financial reporting and contribute to a cohesive and efficient reporting process. Additionally, you will participate in training initiatives and internal communication to increase knowledge and engagement around sustainability issues within the organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in sustainability, economics, or another relevant field. You have experience in sustainability work and ESG reporting, are accustomed to working with key figures, and have good knowledge of relevant regulations such as CSRD, GRI, and ISO 14001. Experience with climate calculations and working with EcoVadis or similar systems is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you are analytical and structured, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and decision-making support. You enjoy working both independently and goal-oriented, take personal responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward proactively. At the same time, you are a team player with good collaboration skills who builds trusting relationships with various functions within the organization. You communicate clearly and pedagogically and have a knack for engaging and guiding others in sustainability-related issues.
