Project Coordinator with Experience in Finance/Accounting and IT

SJR is looking for a Project Coordinator with experience in the intersection of Finance/Accounting and IT for a strategic global change project with our client in Södertälje. This is a consulting assignment initially for 6 months starting January 12th. For the right person, there is a possibility of extension thereafter. The company applies a hybrid model where you are expected to work on-site in Södertälje about 2-3 days a week. For this assignment, we are looking for someone who wants to be employed as a consultant or someone who wants to work as a subcontractor with us.

About the Position

The role is central to the work of implementing a unified solution for financial reporting and consolidation, where you support internal project management and contribute to creating structure, clarity, and progress. The assignment involves coordinating changes in IT systems, reporting models, and financial processes, as well as close collaboration with subsidiaries in a large number of markets and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project administration and ongoing follow-up within your areas of responsibility
• Support the project manager before and during PI planning sessions together with the IT organization
• Create structure, transparency, and effective communication within the project and with global units
• Contribute to risk management, including follow-up, reporting, and action planning
• Facilitate dialogue and coordination between Finance, Accounting, and IT
• Support change work related to group reporting and system adaptations

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with an academic degree as a civil engineer, business economist, or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering. You have several years of experience in project coordination in environments where finance, accounting, and IT intersect – preferably within banking, finance, group reporting, or other complex operations. Experience from international organizations and projects with many stakeholders is an advantage. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English and have the ability to present complex information clearly and structured.
