About Us

Närhälsan Öjersjö health center opened its operations in December 2023 in completely new premises.

The health center is located in a brand new residential area, Gökegård in Öjersjö, an attractive nature-close community in Partille with good connections to Gothenburg and nearby municipalities. We offer both physical visits and e-services such as video visits, self-check-in, self-monitoring, iKBT, 1177, as well as a chat function and triage online that is under further development.

The staff group will be the hub that, together with the operations manager, drives the development of the health center. We offer a stimulating and developing workplace, high competence among your colleagues, and a great community in daily work.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center are varied, with a focus on patient interaction. As a medical secretary, you are an important employee at the health center. Your tasks include handling incoming referral responses and being a local IT support. You will also play an important role in our digital work, which includes marketing the health center via social media. We use several digital platforms, and you will be responsible for training both colleagues and, above all, our patients on how to use these.

A large part of the tasks as a medical secretary with us includes reception work, where you are the first person patients meet. You will also have close collaboration with the unit manager at the health center. This places high demands on being service-oriented, flexible, and having a good approach. Once a week, we have children's sampling at the health center, where you as a medical secretary participate and support when children come for sampling. Therefore, it is important that you have an interest in tasks that involve contact and interaction with children.

Dictation writing is not included in the tasks of a medical secretary with us.

About You

You are a trained medical secretary. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in regional primary care. You have a genuine interest in digitalization and good knowledge in the field. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are service-oriented and proactive, you enjoy working independently, but also have good collaboration skills. You like variation in your work and find it easy to switch between different tasks. Since the workload is variable, it is important that you can prioritize among tasks. We also see that you, together with us, have a strong interest in business development.
