We are now seeking a temporary accounting assistant to join our team!

About the Position

As an accounting assistant with us, you will become part of the finance department and work in a varied and developing role.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable with a focus on merchandise invoices.
• Investigating and reporting discrepancies.
• Responsible for cash bookkeeping and email dispatch from Customer Service.
• Reconciliation of balance accounts during month-end closing.

We offer a dynamic work environment where you will work from our office in Grebbestad, with potential travel to our office in Gothenburg. Regardless of location, you will be part of an engaged and collaborative finance department.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school education in finance.
• Has basic knowledge of accounting.
• Has experience in similar tasks, preferably with previous work in Navision.
• Is self-driven, takes great responsibility, and works both structured and meticulously.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can communicate clearly with colleagues from different departments. You enjoy working in a role where you sometimes need to set demands, but always with a solution-oriented and flexible approach.

Our Offer

The position is a 100% temporary role primarily based in Grebbestad, but there is a chance for work in Gothenburg. Start date is according to agreement and extends until 2026-08-28.

In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the Nordics' largest sports store at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is now one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure. Our range mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
