As an analyst, you contribute to transforming data into insights that improve public transport and help shape the future of sustainable travel. As an analyst in the Business Intelligence & Data Analysis Team, you will be an important link between the business and competencies within BI & Data Analysis. You help the organization realize its needs for data and insights for better decision-making and follow-up.

In this role, you will transform large amounts of data into knowledge that has concrete significance – for our travelers and for our colleagues. You will help create the understanding that allows us to become more efficient.

You will:

• analyze, structure, and visualize data to provide the business with the right decision-making basis
• develop analytical models and data visualizations
• make statistics accessible through interactive reports in Power BI
• retrieve, process, and refine data from various sources
• conduct analyses that lead to concrete improvements in the business

You will work with traffic data from vehicles, travel statistics, sales, and customer data. Examples of tasks may include analyzing travel patterns, calculating the effects of changes in ticket offerings, or developing models for travel times and customer satisfaction.

You will become part of an engaged team of about 15 people, including 5 analysts. Together, you will explore data, share insights, and support each other in developing both work methods and the business. Qualifications:

• Relevant academic degree - to succeed in the role of analyst, you have a university education in, for example, IT/technology or social sciences with a quantitative focus.
• Previous experience in similar work - you have worked for at least a couple of years in the areas of Business Intelligence or analysis.
• Programming - you have experience in programming, preferably in SQL.
• English - in the Business Intelligence & Data Analysis team, the working language is both Swedish and English, so you need to be proficient in both languages.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with large amounts of data
• Knowledge of traffic analysis
• Programming languages Python or R
• Experience developing reports in advanced analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Previous experience with Microsoft's Azure platform
• Previous experience with the Databricks analysis platform
