Case Officer for Housing Adaptation
As our case officer for housing adaptation has chosen to seek new challenges after many years, we are now looking for you who want to contribute to our important mission.
- Do you want to make an impact?
- Is the work environment important to you?
We are a unit where our highest priority goals are to create a good work environment with a sense of humor. We focus on the user and believe that good treatment is the key to success, along with a great deal of competence. We want to actively work on development and quality improvement.
In the role of case officer for housing adaptation, you will work independently but with colleagues close to you in other areas.
As a case officer, your task is to investigate, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to the Housing Adaptation Grant Act and to be responsible for information during the ongoing investigation. You meet many people, learn about their life stories, and contribute to making a difference in their lives when they receive support for a functioning everyday life. It is important for us to collaborate based on our different roles and competencies for the best of our users. Working as a case officer means that case officers are expected to balance the demands of the public servant role regarding treatment and legal application.
What do we offer you?
With us, you will receive coaching leadership and methodological support as well as training opportunities that will help you grow in your professional role. For personal development, everyone has a reading day per term, which we then share with each other at, for example, staff meetings. In the unit, we support each other in various cases and develop the operations together based on different improvement efforts. We have a clear focus on promoting a good work environment.
Our job is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. If you find this exciting and challenging, you might be the right person for us!
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in public administration or another education that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of current legislation and case law in the area. Experience in public authority exercise in the area of housing adaptation grants is also an advantage. A B driver's license and driving experience are required.
As a person, you are positive, engaged, and enjoy making an impact. You have experience and interest in meeting people from a professional perspective. You are comfortable in the authority role and have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. The role requires you to work independently with the ability to structure and prioritize tasks. Furthermore, you are good at collaborating and maintaining good contacts with users, colleagues, and other partners in daily work. Personal qualities are highly valued.
Welcome with your application!
