Within the Eastern Adult Psychiatry, the residents of Blekinge have access to specialized care in the psychiatric field.

This operation includes several units such as the adult psychiatric reception, adult psychiatric inpatient care, psychiatric emergency unit, psychiatric intensive care unit, addiction unit, cognitive reception, and eating disorder unit.

The administrative staff works in two teams; one that primarily works with the adult psychiatric reception and inpatient care, and one that works with the other units.

The medical secretaries are located at Blekinge Hospital in Karlskrona.

About the Job

The administrative service is an important function for the units. The position we are looking for is for the team that works with the psychiatric emergency unit, psychiatric intensive care unit, addiction unit, cognitive reception, and eating disorder unit.

The job includes working some weekends within emergency psychiatry, which will be done from home for 4 hours a day.

You will work in a team where good collaboration is combined with independent tasks. As a medical secretary with us, you will be responsible for care documentation, printing of journals, certificates, referrals, and letters after dictation, as well as shared reception work. In addition to these, quality work, statistics, mail handling, and telephone contacts with patients and other healthcare providers, as well as other administrative services, are also included.

About You

Medical secretary or medical secretary exam.

You should be a trained medical secretary with good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology. You should be able to express yourself easily both in writing and verbally and be able to work both independently and in a team. You are a person who enjoys providing good service and has the ability to plan and prioritize in daily work. You are also outgoing and meticulous. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as service orientation, engagement, cooperation ability, and continuity.

Other

Applicants who are considered for employment must present a certificate from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
