About Us

Do you want to make a difference and contribute to a safe and pleasant visit at Region Blekinge this summer? We are now looking for service-oriented and responsible summer substitutes for the central cash desk in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

The central cash desk is part of the customer service department. Within the customer service department, there is also customer service and a telephone exchange. We are a team of 25 employees with close collaboration and a clear customer perspective.

The Job

Working at the central cash desk as an administrative assistant involves a lot of customer contact. You play an important role in ensuring that patients are registered for their visits to the clinics in Karlskrona and Karlshamn, as well as offering invoice, card, or cash payment for the visit.

Your responsibilities include issuing ID cards to employees and handling administrative tasks in various systems. In the role of administrative assistant, you also provide various patient information to visitors and patients.

You will be based in Karlskrona or Karlshamn, but travel between locations may occur if necessary. A two-week introduction is included and takes place before the start of the summer period.

About You

To become part of our team, we see that you have completed high school education and experience in meeting people in a professional manner. We value a high level of service and are looking for someone who is calm, attentive, unpretentious, and has a strong ability to collaborate.

You enjoy both independent work and teamwork, and take responsibility in your work approach regardless of who you are working with. You are resilient to stress and have good communication skills in both Swedish and English.

The job involves daily use of several different digital systems, which requires that you have good computer skills and can easily familiarize yourself with new systems.

A B driver's license is a requirement.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Don’t forget to attach your grades/transcript from your high school or vocational education.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in reserve. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
