Do you want to help shape the future of public services and work with socially important development? At the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you will have a central role in creating long-term strategy and effective governance for development.

Business Development, Architectural Work, and Management

As a Senior Business Architect in the area of Strategy and Development Governance, you will contribute architectural perspectives/work in the agency's strategic and tactical planning and ensure that the architecture supports long-term strategic goals. Furthermore, you will:

• develop and manage the agency's framework for architectural governance and architecture models such as capability maps, value streams, and target architectures
• establish and/or participate in architectural councils to ensure compliance with architectural principles and guidelines and ensure that architecture is integrated into the agency's decision-making and governance processes
• collaborate with management and other strategic functions to identify and drive long-term and tactical development
• ensure that architecture provides decision support in portfolio management and prioritization of initiatives
• lead the work of defining and implementing effective processes for architectural governance
• communicate the value of architecture and translate complex architectural issues into decision support for various stakeholders
• support and coach internal stakeholders on architectural issues to ensure sustainable solutions and improved operational efficiency.

We are looking for someone who has

• a university degree in computer science, informatics, or a corresponding field, or equivalent experiences and qualifications
• several years of experience in strategic business development, business architecture, or similar roles in a large organization
• experience working in complex organizations and the ability to manage the needs and requirements of various stakeholders
• experience in business/mission modeling
• experience in business capabilities, capability-based planning, and facilitating and leading workshops for capability modeling and strategic work
• documented experience in strategic processes and translating strategy into architecture
• understanding of how architecture provides decision support in portfolio and investment management
• experience in impact management and how architecture supports impact governance
• experience in target architecture and roadmap work
• the ability to create connections between strategic goals, capabilities, initiatives, and solutions
• very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• experience in architectural governance as a business architect or chief architect
• experience of the practical benefits and communication skills to utilize business architecture as support for management of development
• experience in integrating architecture into strategic planning processes
• experience specifically from the public sector or governmental environment.

A permanent, full-time position with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
