About the position

One of Perido's many clients is a company operating in the automotive industry. They are one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction machinery, as well as marine and industrial engines. We are now looking for a Financial Controller for their office in Olofström, where the work is conducted on-site.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Financial Controller, you are expected to be a natural part of the function's management team and guide them in the right direction regarding decisions that may have a financial impact. Future goals are set through close collaboration with the functions regarding targets, outlook, and business plans. Having a close collaboration while also challenging the function you support is an important part of being able to do a good job and achieve results.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate outcomes against set goals
• Support with comments for the results review with central Finance
• Propose actions to achieve goals, both short and long term
• Work with outlook regarding volume changes, efficiencies, or major changes in
• the business that may impact our results
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines
• Ensure that the functions work on their efficiency efforts and compile results

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Good experience working with Excel
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP R3

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-07-17. Start 2026-01-02.
