About the position

Stena Line is currently looking for reinforcement in both of its check-in departments, passenger check-in and freight check-in. Freight check-in has primary responsibilities such as checking in trucks and cargo in the form of goods, pallets, and loose trailers. Administration tasks include managing waiting lists, mail handling, and lists/summaries for various departments within the organization.

Travel check-in has primary responsibilities such as checking in and booking private guests. Administration tasks involve checking and managing departures, mail handling, and more. The work also includes managing conference rooms, storage boxes, vending machines, and creating a pleasant atmosphere in the terminal.

About you

We are looking for someone who is administrative, mature, secure, and solution-oriented, and who is attracted by the challenge of delivering excellent service to Stena Line's guests/drivers. You have the ability to see the customer's needs and always give guests "that little extra" to exceed their expectations.

Furthermore, we see that you have good team spirit, teamwork, and commitment. You learn quickly and approach your tasks with great accuracy and a sense of responsibility. It is also required that you are flexible and stress-resistant as you work on a shift schedule with varying tasks.

Important for the position:

You are administrative and meticulous
You have a B driver's license
You have at least a high school education
Have worked at least one year in a service profession, travel industry, logistics, or similar.
Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form. Polish is a merit.
Have good computer skills
Note! For the employment form for this position, there is a requirement that you have another main occupation (at least 50%, e.g., studies or another job)

About the employment

The position as a Check-in employee is a consulting assignment as needed. The work primarily takes place early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

You will be employed by us at Adecco but will work at our clients' locations. The hourly wage is always at least according to the agreements applicable in the labor market. Vacation pay is added and paid out with the salary. If working during evenings, weekends, and nights, additional pay will be added according to the applicable collective agreement.
