About the job as an operational purchaser:

As an operational purchaser with us at Jefferson Wells, at our client SAAB in Karlskrona, you will work with the daily purchasing flow and ensure that the business has the right materials at the right time. The role involves close collaboration with tacticians, strategic purchasers, and goods reception, where you will become a key person in following up deliveries, managing orders, and updating item information. You will work in a structured and proactive manner to ensure delivery precision and contribute to an efficient material flow.

Common tasks include:

  • Managing inventory orders and logging pickup orders.
  • Ordering inventory materials and following up on missing deliveries.
  • Monitoring deliveries and escalating deviations to tacticians and strategists.
  • Updating items with delivery times, prices, and other information.
  • Creating KPIs for delivery precision and flagging deviations.
  • Updating price lists and collaborating with goods reception.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in operational purchasing and thrives in a role where you can combine structure, communication, and problem-solving. You are proactive, driven, and have an easy time collaborating with different functions. To succeed in the role, you need to be meticulous, responsible, and have a good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has education or experience in purchasing.
  • Is structured, communicative, and solution-oriented.
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Thrives in a role with many contact points and varied tasks.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
