Job Description
In the role of Operational Purchasing Assistant, the initial focus is on registering and managing order confirmations. You will learn how the systems are structured, how item numbers are organized, and which details are crucial for the purchasing process to function correctly. The work will give you an early and clear understanding of the fundamentals of operational purchasing and how material flows are interconnected.
As you build your knowledge, the role will gradually develop. You will then take responsibility for monitoring stock orders, pick orders, and requisitions of stock materials. The work involves delivery monitoring, handling discrepancies, and following up on confirmed deliveries. You will update items with relevant information from order confirmations and work with KPI tracking related to delivery precision. The role also includes handling urgent needs and escalating to tacticians or strategists in case of discrepancies.
The role involves daily contact with tactical purchasers and other functions within the organization, where you contribute to ensuring structure, monitoring material flows, and supporting the purchasing process in operational work.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a daily environment with many contact points and varied tasks. You work independently, take initiative, and find it easy to reach out when something needs to be resolved. You are curious, willing to ask questions, and approach tasks proactively.
Requirements:
- Relevant purchasing competence (education or experience)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Security classification level 3
