We are now looking for an indirect buyer to complement our team. In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.

Your Responsibilities

The indirect buyer is responsible for executing the purchasing process within indirect categories. The role involves analyzing, evaluating, and implementing existing processes and working methods, as well as developing and executing purchasing strategies with the goal of ensuring that set objectives are met in line with TitanX's overall goals for the area.

The position entails responsibility for coordinating and leading local purchasing activities for indirect categories as well as regional and global purchases within selected indirect categories, including coordination with central purchasing within TitanX and the Tata AutoComp group.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Working in accordance with TitanX processes and applicable standards such as IATF, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Analyzing the budget for indirect materials and translating this into clear purchasing goals.
  • Conducting market comparisons, analyses, and follow-ups to ensure optimal commercial conditions.
  • Leading and coordinating local and regional purchasing initiatives as well as negotiations within all indirect categories.
  • Planning, following up, and executing purchasing activities, including the development of supplier panels.
  • Managing and continuously updating the approved supplier base.
  • Designing, negotiating, and signing contracts for indirect categories according to the approval and decision matrix and ensuring that purchase orders are created in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and updating price agreements in the ERP system to ensure correct pricing.
  • Driving sustainability initiatives together with indirect suppliers in line with TitanX's sustainability goals.
  • Following up and managing supplier performance and developing and nurturing supplier relationships.
  • Supporting category buyers in collaboration with cross-functional teams at the Mjällby facility when needed.

Your Background/Attributes

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in engineering, economics, supply chain, or purchasing, along with 5–10 years of experience in strategic purchasing, sourcing, or supplier development, preferably within indirect categories. Experience in purchasing within the automotive industry is an advantage.

You have a good understanding of global supply chains, strategic purchasing, cost structures, and TCO models, as well as strong and documented negotiation skills.

You possess excellent analytical skills, advanced knowledge of Excel, and preferably experience working in SAP and MS Office. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English and thrive in an international and cross-functional environment.

As a person, you are self-driven, goal-oriented, and have a strong commitment to building supplier relationships, developing purchasing strategies, and negotiating in a dynamic and changing environment.
