About the Position

As a Product Data Coordinator, you will play a central role in supporting projects in both new acquisitions and maintenance of technical information. You will also contribute to strengthening our administrative capabilities within the Marine Operations area. You will work with technical administration and issues related to material transfer, such as delivery processes and order documentation, to the Swedish Armed Forces' PRIO system.

The role involves significant responsibility for managing and consolidating issues related to logistical support systems, while you have the freedom to find creative and sustainable solutions within material reporting. You will work alongside and support engineers focusing on sustainable maintenance solutions and project managers to create lasting and stable solutions that meet the needs of various projects within Marine Operations.

The role requires knowledge of material management and material reporting within FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces, as you will handle issues related to our logistical support systems (FMV PLM system Teamcenter) and operate within several of FMV's and the Armed Forces' information systems. This requires training and knowledge about systems, processes, regulations, and methods mentioned above, which you will receive upon employment.

As a Product Data Coordinator, you will have access to the aforementioned systems, and it is part of your task to lead suppliers and consultants regarding issues related to systems, regulations, and processes. You will also perform minor interventions in data entry within the systems. The position is located in Karlskrona.

About You

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in a technical field or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we deem comparable. You have experience with operational and follow-up systems and project work. We would prefer if you have experience within the Armed Forces. We also view positively if you have experience with ship and/or submarine systems.

The Marine Materiel Operations area is responsible for new acquisitions, modifications, and maintenance of marine systems used by the Armed Forces. With professional employees, we carry out and develop operations together with other FMV units and in close collaboration with the Armed Forces and industry. The Marine area consists of three production departments: Surface Combat Systems, Underwater Combat Systems, and Amphibious, Support, and Base Systems, and operates in Stockholm, Karlskrona, and Malmö.

The position is located in the Amphibious, Support, and Base Systems department, which currently consists of 70 engaged employees with great expertise. The Amphibious, Support, and Base Systems unit in Karlskrona drives projects related to the maintenance of ship and boat systems for Marine Support, Base, Amphibious, and logistics units. Examples include Trossbåtar, Skolfartyg, Trossö, Carlskrona, Stridsbåtar, and Artemis. As a Product Data Coordinator, you will contribute to a historic growth within the navy. Through your role, you will be part of influencing the materials and systems that will be used within the navy for decades to come.
