Customer Responsible Technical Account Manager at Formplast

Do you want to work in an exciting and innovative environment focused on growth? Formplast is in constant development and is now looking for a technical salesperson who wants to help develop existing and establish new customers in Sweden and other parts of Europe.

About Formplast

With over 65 years of experience, we are leaders in vacuum forming and deliver high-quality plastic components to the industry. We are part of CalixKlippan AB, a group with industry-leading players in Sweden and Europe. Our facilities in Broby and Olofström are equipped with advanced technology for vacuum and pressure forming. We deliver complete products through post-processing in CNC-controlled milling machines and through assembly of components in the processed details.

We create long-term value for our customers through good knowledge, high quality, and short lead times. Our dedicated team of about 50 employees has broad knowledge and a passion for innovative plastic solutions. Through close collaborations with leading companies, we deliver high-performance products to customers in Sweden and Europe.

About the role

As a technical salesperson, you will play a key role in our sales team. You will be responsible for building and developing relationships with both new and existing customers, as well as developing business that generates the greatest possible value for our customers.

The position reports directly to the CEO in an organization with short decision-making paths.

Who are you?

We are looking for an engaged and persistent person who is passionate about creating and developing customer relationships. You are able to understand, develop, and communicate our technical solutions to customers. A team player with a constant focus on business acumen and customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in Sweden but also internationally
  • Handle and respond to customer inquiries professionally and quickly
  • Negotiate with customers to create optimal business conditions
  • Initiate and follow up customer projects to ensure customer satisfaction and quality

Qualifications:

  • Good experience in sales and business development, or experience from a business-close technical role with regular customer contact
  • Ability to understand, develop, and communicate technical solutions that create value for our customers
  • Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing (corporate language)
  • Driver's license and ability to travel about one week per month

Meritorious:

  • Higher technical education
  • Industry experience from the manufacturing plastic industry
  • Experience working in automotive
  • Experience working in business systems

Location: Broby or Olofström: To ensure effective collaboration with teams, development, and production, presence in the office is required three days a week.
