About the role

In this role, you will work closely with both the design and sales teams. Together, you will drive the development of customized products and support the organization with technical expertise. Your responsibilities include:

• Consulting on customer inquiries regarding customizations outside of Scanbox's standard range.
• Acting as technical support for the sales organization regarding questions and orders related to customizations.
• Providing technical support to salespeople in quotation work and during feasibility study phases as needed.
• Design and quality assurance of customized products.
• Working with technical documentation for purchasing and manufacturing.
• Preparing components, modules, and products in the ERP system with BOM lists and operations.

The role is based in Olofström and is part of the Product Management Team, reporting to the Technical Product Manager.

Your profile

Your personal qualities are important to us! You are attentive to the customer and have good communication skills to understand the customer's real needs. You appreciate a role where you can be both technically analytical and creative. To succeed in this role, you dare to challenge the customer's initial needs and always strive to deliver solutions that create real value, both for the customer and for Scanbox.

We are looking for someone with a degree in mechanical engineering and several years of experience in design work and/or product development. You feel confident in your expertise and in taking on a consulting role in product development and design. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus, as is Monitor. Your proficiency in Swedish and English is very good, both spoken and written.
