ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Controller at Volvo Car Body Components (VCBC), you are expected to be a natural part of the function's management team and guide them in the right direction regarding decisions that have financial impacts. Future goals are set through close collaboration with the functions around objectives, forecasts, and business plans. You will work closely with the function you support while also challenging it, which is an important part of doing a good job and achieving the desired results.

This is a consulting assignment for 6 months where you will work on-site from the office in Olofström.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyzing and evaluating results against set goals.
Contributing comments during result reviews with the central finance function.
Proposing actions to achieve goals both in the short and long term.
Working with forecasts regarding volume changes, efficiencies, or major business changes that may affect the customer's results.
Ensuring that customers adhere to financial rules and guidelines.
Ensuring that functions work on their efficiencies and compiling the results of this work.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as the language is used in daily work.
Has excellent skills in Excel.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Has previously worked as a controller.

It is advantageous if you have:

Experience with SAP R3
Previously worked within VCBC on issues related to finance and technology.
