About the position

Humana is a leading player in Swedish foster care. Our work is characterized by commitment, flexibility, and proven methods that contribute to ensuring quality interventions. We have different units and offices to get close to our foster homes located throughout Sweden. The Örebro foster care unit covers Örebro County and Värmland County. The position is based in Örebro but also involves travel to Karlstad.

As a team leader, you will play a central role in developing the operations and ensuring high quality in our interventions. You are responsible for driving processes aimed at increasing occupancy and the number of approved foster homes. Additionally, you will work towards our operational goals and quality work, which includes both follow-up and development. The job also involves leading meetings, updating operational documents, and planning activities, such as planning days, in consultation with the unit manager.

In this position, you will actively work with marketing and inquiries towards foster homes and clients. The work also includes administrative tasks such as documentation, compiling investigations, invoicing, and drafting contracts.

Examples of tasks:

  • Be responsible for and follow up on processes within recruitment, marketing, and quality assurance
  • Lead and support foster care consultants in guiding foster homes, as well as conducting case reviews with foster care consultants
  • Investigate new foster homes
  • Collaborate with the unit manager and act as a contact point towards social services and foster homes
  • Update operational documents and plan activities together with the unit manager, such as planning days
  • Drive the work to increase occupancy and the number of approved foster homes

About the employment

Working hours and employment rate: Permanent employment, 100%, trust-based working hours. Work during evenings and weekends may occur. A 6-month probationary period applies.

Start date: by agreement.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we see that you are structured, analytical, and have good social skills. You enjoy leading complex processes and have the ability to identify areas for improvement by analyzing the needs of the operations. You have experience and knowledge of foster care as a form of care, as well as a good understanding of what is required to maintain quality interventions.

We also see that you have a positive attitude towards collaboration and building strong relationships, both internally and externally.

For this position, it is required that you:

  • have a degree in social work or other relevant education
  • have a B driver's license

It is also meritorious if you:

  • have experience from a similar leadership role
  • have experience in foster care
