About the Position

As a social worker/therapist with us at the Treatment Group, you will provide curative, advisory, and supportive conversations to individuals with substance abuse issues related to alcohol, drugs, or gambling. Individuals may also be offered treatment both individually and in groups. The work also includes supportive conversations with relatives. Working hours are primarily during the day, but occasional evening work may occur during certain periods. The Treatment Group consists of 9 colleagues, including a team leader. The group possesses extensive knowledge and supports each other.

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

establishing, implementing, and following up on action plans
advising, supporting, and/or therapeutic conversations
managing and being responsible for group activities
initiating and participating in network work
documentation in the operational system Lifecare
collaborating with the authorities and other internal and external actors

About the Workplace

The Treatment Group is part of adult outpatient care within the area of individual and family care. The unit works with treatment and psychosocial support for individuals with substance abuse problems and dependency issues related to alcohol, drugs, and gambling. At the workplace, we have several different groups, such as a 12-step group, CBT group, aftercare group, and family group, which means we have many individuals coming and being in the service during the day. We receive individual conversations in the form of open access as well as assignments from the authorities. Adult outpatient care consists of the Treatment Group, Support Group, and Center against Violence in Close Relationships (CMV). The workplace is located at Västra Nobelgatan 2.

Qualifications

To be suitable as a social worker with us, you are stable, secure, and have good self-awareness. You work well with others but also take responsibility for your tasks and plan, organize, and prioritize your work. In this role, it is important that you are attentive in your interactions with others and that you have a natural ability to understand others' perspectives and situations without losing your professional integrity. Furthermore, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate clearly and structured according to whom you meet, as well as document in writing what the organization requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in the operational system, good computer skills are required.

Requirements:

degree in social work of 210 credits, or equivalent higher education degree of at least 210 credits that the employer assesses as equivalent
documented experience of treatment with adults with substance abuse issues
experience and/or willingness to lead groups
