We are now looking for a curator for the Adult Rehabilitation's autism team with part of the position in our TUB team. The mission of Adult Rehabilitation is to provide specialized habilitation and rehabilitation to patients with significant disabilities. Our target group includes patients with autism, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, multiple disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and neurological diseases. We are organized into three diagnostic teams: the Autism team, the Neuro-brain injury team, and the team for patients with intellectual disabilities.

We also have the TUB team, which offers consultation to municipal staff working within LSS operations in Örebro County. The target group is individuals over 16 years old with challenging behavior and/or severe mental health issues in combination with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. The team will consist of two people who work approximately 40% of their time on the TUB assignment and the remaining 60% as curators in the Autism team.

Curator for Adult Rehabilitation with part in the TUB team

Job Responsibilities

TUB consultation involves guiding staff groups in, for example, joint working methods and professional ethical responses, developing various types of action plans, structure, routines, relationship-building approaches, and translating theoretical knowledge into practical work in the person's/patient's everyday life. The assignments come from all municipalities in Örebro County, so a fair amount of travel is included in the position.

In the curator role within the Autism team, you will have a broad and varied field of work. You will work with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and average intelligence. You will provide treatment both in groups and individually. You will help design and lead discussion groups and courses, but you will also have individual contacts, such as support in dealings with authorities, support conversations, and motivational interviewing. We have both physical meetings with patients and digital care with therapeutic conversations and courses online.

You will independently plan your work in close collaboration with the team. As a new employee, you will have a mentor during the initial period and regular external supervision.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed healthcare curator or have a degree in social work. Step 1 training is an advantage, and we would like you to be a licensed psychotherapist. Experience with the target group is a requirement, and it is desirable that you have advanced knowledge or training in case supervision. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and collaboration skills.

The position involves travel, so a driver's license is required. Since the work includes both teamwork and collaboration with other care providers and authorities, good collaboration skills and flexibility are important qualities. Furthermore, it is essential that you are a good communicator with the ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing. We want you to see opportunities instead of difficulties.
