Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to adopt new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our clients and provide the foundation for daily life. You will contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and help ensure that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule of day-evening and weekend or constant night shifts.

As a summer substitute at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., from psychiatry, HVB operations, or from care and support.
• Driver's license B
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformations. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathy, and the ability to create good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

The position is a fixed-term employment from June 2 to August 24.
