We are currently looking for a personal assistant to a woman in her 40s, who is in a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury.

The woman lives in Nora together with her cat.

The work includes everything from care, personal hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities and daily tasks, etc. The user also has a cognitive disability that is not visible to others, but as an assistant, it is important to address it correctly.

You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day. She participates in many leisure activities and as an assistant, you will accompany her on all of them.

The workplace is in the individual's home wherever the individual may be.

The working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, weekdays and full days on weekends. The shifts include shorter morning shifts, as well as longer afternoon shifts, and it varies so you should be able to work both. We also appreciate if you can work on short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

We are looking for substitute employees, which may lead to more permanent positions.

We prefer that you, who apply for the position, have a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and have a professional approach. You, who apply, have a genuine interest and sense of care for people.

Other qualities that are good for the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.
