The Social Administration runs a broad operation within elderly care, disability services, health and medical care, as well as individual and family care. We currently have about 250 employees. If you want to work within our administration, you will be part of an organization that puts people's need for support at the center. The individual and family care in Lekeberg Municipality consists of a total of 20 employees in child, adult, and outpatient care. There is a team leader for the child and family unit, a team leader for the adult unit, and an IFO manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now expanding with a position in the Adult Unit and are looking for a social worker to handle cases, primarily focusing on financial assistance, but also working with substance abuse and domestic violence is included in the role. In Lekeberg Municipality, we support individuals' paths to work and self-sufficiency according to the employment line. By working with step transitions in cases, we increase individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency.
In the role of social worker, you will investigate, assess, make decisions, and conduct follow-ups, primarily according to the Social Services Act, but also LVM. The individual and family care has a holistic view of both people and operations. We are looking for someone who is engaged in social work and is open and curious about change work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- completed a degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent
- good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
- driver's license (B) and can/may drive a car
- good computer skills.
- experience in authority exercise within the adult unit's areas of work.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in the Lifecare operational system. As a person, you show interest and understanding for those you meet in your professional role. You work for good communication and have a pleasant approach. Furthermore, you have an independent working style, are structured with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively. You are flexible, can make decisions, adapt to changing conditions, and drive processes in a goal-oriented manner. Since the work involves contacts with multiple people, you should have very good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We work together for the transition to the new Social Services Act.
A criminal record extract and diploma must be presented at the interview.
