ABOUT THE POSITION

Working as a personal assistant to a person with disabilities is a fun and rewarding job! You get the chance to help a person live a life as close to normal as possible! Being a personal assistant can also be very self-developing and insightful! You get the opportunity to get to know another person on a different level than you usually do, and in the process, get to know yourself in a different way!

The work involves being a personal assistant to a social, cheerful, and active 65-year-old man. Sports, music, and traveling are his main interests.

Due to an accident, the man has had both arms amputated. The job entails assisting with daily chores, such as morning routines, cooking, cleaning, accompanying him on various activities, providing assistance, helping with medications, etc.

The workplace is in the man's home wherever he may be.

The working hours are daytime 8-10 Monday-Sunday and afternoons according to the man's needs.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific client, it is important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice if needed, due to illness, etc.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who has a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and maintain a professional attitude. You should have a genuine interest and sense of care for people.

Other qualities that are beneficial for the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.

It is a great advantage if you have experience in personal assistance work.

Since we care about our customers' safety and security, we have a routine of obtaining criminal record checks for all employees in the company. This means that upon employment, we will request a record check from you before you can start working.
